WHOOP Advanced Labs
Compared with Function Health, Superpower and InsideTracker: see the comparison →
WHOOP Advanced Labs does something no other blood testing platform does: it connects 75 biomarkers to your 24/7 wearable data. Most lab tests give you a snapshot in time. WHOOP gives you that snapshot in context — your cortisol alongside your HRV trends, your ApoB alongside your daily recovery score, your testosterone alongside your training load. If you're already a WHOOP member, this is the most logical extension of that data. If you're not, the total cost calculus changes significantly.

75 biomarkers is a solid but not exceptional panel — fewer than Superpower (100+) or Function (160+). The key differentiator is the integration layer: these 65 markers connect to your daily recovery, sleep quality, HRV, and training load. ApoB and Lp(a) are included, which is meaningful. The panel covers all critical categories but lacks the depth of standalone blood testing platforms.

AI-generated contentWHOOP uses AI for insights; notes it can make errors
Quest labs and clinician-reviewed reports are solid foundations. WHOOP's wearable science is well-validated — their HRV and sleep research is peer-reviewed. The integration between lab data and wearable data is the novel claim, and WHOOP appropriately disclaims that it's educational and not diagnostic. The AI-generated action plan is a slight validity concern — but the underlying lab tests themselves are rigorous.

This is where WHOOP Advanced Labs is best-in-class. No other platform connects clinical lab results to continuous physiological monitoring. Knowing your cortisol is elevated alongside your HRV trend over the past month is a different kind of insight than either data point alone. The weekly plan integration, where your lab results actually change what WHOOP recommends you do that week, is a meaningfully useful feature that no standalone testing platform can match.

Update, October 2026: WHOOP dropped the membership requirement on August 18. The Comprehensive panel is now $199/yr for one draw or $349/yr for two, which works out to about $10 per reference marker covered, the lowest in our blood comparison. Wearable owners still get the integration; everyone else gets a clinician-reviewed panel at the lowest entry price here.

WHOOP app qualityBest-in-class wearable app; widely used by athletes
If you're already a WHOOP user, the experience is essentially seamless — labs are ordered within the same app you use every day, results feed back into your existing dashboard, and the coaching shows up in your weekly plan. WHOOP's app is well-regarded. The only meaningful friction is that Advanced Labs is still rolling out (waitlist at launch) and international availability is limited.
The integration is the product
Knowing your ApoB is 110 mg/dL is useful. Knowing your ApoB is 110 mg/dL, and that over the same period your average recovery has been in the yellow zone and your sleep efficiency has dropped 8 points, is more useful. WHOOP Advanced Labs is the only platform that closes this loop — and for users who are already immersed in their wearable data, the addition of clinical lab results in the same context is additive, not just a parallel report.
Pros & cons
What works
+ Only platform that connects labs to 24/7 wearable data
+ Results feed into WHOOP weekly plan and daily coaching
+ ApoB and Lp(a) included in the panel
+ Clinician-reviewed report with personalized action plan
+ Upload existing labs free — no Advanced Labs subscription needed
+ Ideal for athletes tracking performance and recovery
Watch out for
− No at-home draw; results take 7–10 business days
− Advanced Labs is an add-on subscription — total cost unclear
− 75 biomarkers fewer than Superpower (100+) or Function (160+)
− Still rolling out — waitlist at launch, limited international
− AI-generated insights can contain errors (per WHOOP disclaimer)
− Not a good choice if you're not already a WHOOP user
Bottom line
MYM verdict
WHOOP Advanced Labs has the most compelling actionability layer of any blood testing platform — if you're already wearing a WHOOP. The integration between 75 clinical biomarkers and your 24/7 recovery, sleep, and strain data creates insights that no standalone test can match. Since August 2026 you no longer need a WHOOP membership to buy it, which makes it the cheapest clinician-reviewed panel in our comparison. The tradeoff is breadth: no free T4/T3, B12 or folate, and no at-home draw.
WHOOP Advanced Labs was in waitlist phase at time of review — pricing details and availability may have changed. Verified June 2026.
